Cérémonie du Prix européen de la culture.
C'est à la Philharmonie que les prix européens de la culture
seront décernés en 2024.
Le Gala du Prix européen de la Culture aura lieu pour
la première fois à la Philharmonie, le 7 juin prochain,
Bonne nouvelle pour les fans de Ronan Keating:
il va monter sur scène le 7 juin à la Philharmonie.
Le lauréat est cette année le chanteur irlandais Ronan Keating.
"De grands artistes sont attendus",
et la venue de Ronan Keating a d'ores et déjà été confirmée.
Il recevra sa récompense des mains de la
chanteuse allemande Jeannette Biedermann
Seront également présents
la soprano égyptienne Fatma Said,
le chanteur germano-suisse Adel Tawil,
le Vienna Boys Choir et le Vienna Girls Choir
ainsi que la cheffe d'orchestre mexicaine Alondra de la Parra.
Ronan Keating devrait reprendre ses plus grands tubes.
L Ex-membre du groupe Boyzone, a cartonné, en solo,
dans le monde entier avec des titres comme
«If Tomorrow *Never Comes» mais aussi
et surtout «When You Say Nothing At All»,
qui apparaît dans la bande originale du film
«Coup de foudre à Notting Hill» avec Julia Roberts et Hugh Grant.
Il a également été jury de l'émission The Voice en Australie,
en Grande-Bretagne, mais aussi en Allemagne, pays dans lequel
il fera une grande tournée à partir de fin mai.

From acclaimed boy band heartthrob to absolute solo superstar: Irish singer Ronan Keating will be presented the award by German pop icon Jeannette Biedermann. Both artists lead the ranks of famous guests who will meet in the front row of the celebrity-studded gala to award the prestigious prizes. “Ronan is a wonderful person and a gifted singer,” said Jeanette Biedermann, who has appeared on stage with Ronan Keating several times.
The appearance is nevertheless a small premiere for the prominent Irishman: Keating is appearing for the first time with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. For many years, the European Cultural Forum, as the organiser of the gala, has pursued the approach of breaking down the strict separation between musical genres and expanding the concept of culture far beyond narrow boundaries. In recent years, the rock bands “Die Toten Hosen” and the “Scorpions” have performed with renowned European orchestras. Keating will perform for the first time with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, which will also be honoured along with Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra.
La salle de concert au cœur de la ville est une maison de tous
les superlatifs avec une acoustique magnifique.
Ecoutons ce soir-là la merveilleuse musique de grands compositeurs,
interprétée par l'Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg
sous la direction de la chef d'orchestre vedette Alondra de la Parra.
De la grande musique, des musiciens passionnés : sur scène, des artistes de classe mondiale comme le chanteur d'opéra Rolando Villazón, la violoniste vedette Lisa Batiashvili et la soprano Fatma Said. Pour la première fois en dehors de l'Autriche, Les Petits Chanteurs de Vienne se produiront sur scène avec Les Petites Chanteuses de Vienne à Luxembourg et recevront le Prix Européen des Jeunes Talents. Son Altesse Royale la Grande Duchesse Maria Teresa sera honorée par ce prix pour son engagement social. Parmi les autres nominés figurent la styliste vedette Stella McCartney, l'ancien Président de la Commission Européenne Jean-Claude Juncker, le chanteur Ronan Keating et l'actrice Ornella Muti. L'actrice Désirée Nosbusch et Fritz Karl, entre autres, sont attendus comme laudateurs.

Ronan Keating has hailed his sister Linda's contribution
to the Marie Keating Foundation, saying: "She has dedicated her
life to the foundation for the last 25 years."
Ronan was a guest on Friday night's Late Late Show, and host
Patrick Kielty began the interview on a lighter note, asking
Ronan to reflect on Boyzone’s debut on the show back in 1993.
Ronan smiled and admitted: "The next day I went to
work in a shoe shop in Dublin and I thought I was God’s gift
after that first one. We could do no wrong.
"Little did we know, in the weeks that followed after, that the
video would appear in more and more
places - and people were laughing at us rather than applauding us."
Ronan then went on to speak about The Marrie Keating Foundation,
the charity the Keating family founded in honour of their
mother, who died of cancer in 1998.
"It’s been phenomenal," he told Patrick. "Sadly, we had to
set it up in the first place. Losing Mam, it’s still very tough for all
of us as a family. But to think that her name, her legacy, has gone
on in this country for 25 years, and it wouldn’t be what is if it wasn’t for my sister Linda.
"She was the one who, when we were kicking the can around
the house after Mam died, incredibly angry, sad, depressed and
really struggling, it was Linda’s idea.
"Why don't we start a charity? Use our profile, use our
creativity - and we did. We wanted to educate people about
cancer because were incredibly naive ourselves, as a family, when Mam died."
The truly tragic thing about his mother’s death, as he put it himself,
was that "it was the most curable form of breast cancer. But Mam
came from a generation that was scared to go to the doctor and get her breast checked.
"And because of that, it killed her, unfortunately.
And as a family we were uneducated when Mam was
first diagnosed . . . It was Linda who took it upon herself.
She left her job in New York, her life there, and came home
and looked after Mum for the last year of her life.
And dedicated her life to Mum in every shape and form.
"And then we lost Mum and Linda was here in Ireland.
She didn’t go back to New York, she had this incredible life,
she was loving life, running restaurants and bars and
she decided to set up the foundation. We all did, as a family.
"And she has dedicated her life to the foundation for the last 25 years."
Linda was in the audience and was brought on stage to talk
about the charity. Not surprisingly, the first thing she did was
to praise her brother’s own efforts for the foundation and cancer awareness.
Sh told Patrick: "We wouldn’t be where we are today without
him, without his profile, without him being front and centre."
Patrick also brought up the further tragic loss of Linda and
Ronan’s brother Ciaran last year, in a motor accident.
A teary Ronan told him: "We’re sticking together as best we can.
It’s been a tough one."

Les candidats à la
demi-finale de la 13e saison de "The Voice of Germany" 2023 sont
connus.
Des décisions difficiles ont été prises lors des battles par
équipe du 17 novembre : Sur 36 talents, seuls 12 restent en lice. Le 1er
décembre, ces talents devront faire leurs preuves lors de la demi-finale.
